its prolly fate for a guy who found a home at a flea market on the tesuque reservation that my other studio would be at the end of an alley on canyon road
my space on canyon road feels like a dark green garden compared to the bright orange desert i work in at the flea market ... during the day

my studio seems to be surrounded by crows and magpies with rabbits hiding along the fence line and at nite i often hear coyotes howling nearby

on the street behind my studio is the acequia madre built by the spaniards many centurys ago to channel water down the mountain for the small village around canyon road
my studio on canyon has alot of the same feel my shed at the flea does from things i have collected in my travels as well as things from my familys shed in arkansas

and of course the mystery boxes of odd things folks send me from all over the world as thay join me turning invironment into art
in the corner of my front gallery is a black cat wearing a funny costume sitting next to a las vegas tumbler
most of my art is still loose canvas tacked on the wall as ive sayd before u can take the guy out of the flea but u prolly cant take the flea out of the mangy dawg
at my studio i dont throw things away its all swallowd by my art
as u leave my studio dont forgit to have your hair done we got the blue rinse and we can finish you up in the parlor hair drying chair
my canyon road studio is located between and the end of an alley on canyon road next to waxlander gallery in santa fe new mexico
